Softball Recap: Forsyth Central Comes Up Short

If Forsyth Central was riding high fresh off their 9-1 takedown of West Forsyth on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldogs came up short against the Wolverines on Tuesday, falling 20-12. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wolverines earlier this season, when they won 9-1.

Forsyth Central has also been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-20-1 record this season. As for West Forsyth, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 14-15.

While Forsyth Central had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
