Basketball Game Preview: La Sierra Eagles vs. Ramona Rams

La Sierra is 0-10 against Ramona since May of 2021 but things could change on Friday. The Eagles will head out to face off against the Rams at 6:30 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Friday.

It was a Battle of the Birds when La Sierra took on Rubidoux on Wednesday. The Eagles blew past the Falcons 47-22. The game marked the Eagles' most dominant victory of the season.

Meanwhile, Ramona entered their tilt with Patriot on Wednesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They claimed a resounding 73-46 win over the Warriors. The Rams have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 20 points or more this season.

La Sierra's victory bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Ramona, their win bumped their record up to 14-7.

La Sierra was taken down by Ramona 64-21 in their previous matchup on January 7th. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Rams' Jaiden Tibbels, who went 7-for-10 from beyond the arc en route to 25 points along with six boards and five steals. Now that the Eagles know the damage she can cause, will they be able to stop her this time? There's only one way to find out.
