The Loomis Wolves are taking a road trip to challenge the Hitchcock County Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Loomis is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 66-38 victory over Cambridge. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolves.

Jace Schukar had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 301 yards and four TDs while picking up 9.7 yards per carry. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 113.4 rushing yards per game. Tyson Freeman also helped with two scores in total.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Loomis was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 353 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since the start of last season.
Loomis' defensive line stepped up as well, laying out the QB four times. Cauy Meyer was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two sacks himself. Caden Swanson got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Hitchcock County was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Bertrand 58-12. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Falcons' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska football rankings (they are ranked 11th, while the Vikings are ranked 66th).
Loomis' record now sits at 4-1. As for Hitchcock County, their record is now 5-0.
Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Loomis has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 225.2 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Hitchcock County struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 352.8 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Loomis took their win against Hitchcock County in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 48-22 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolves since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
