After losing to Pelham the last time they met, Baconton Charter decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Blazers were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Hornets on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Blazers, who have now won five games by six runs or more so far this season.

Baconton Charter has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.6 runs over those games. As for Pelham, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-5.

Looking ahead, Baconton Charter is taking a road trip to take on Southland Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Pelham, they will host Dougherty at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Hornets' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Trojans have averaged an impressive 8 runs per game this season.
