Volleyball Game Preview: San Antonio Christian Lions vs. Fort Bend Christian Academy Eagles

After both having extra time off, the San Antonio Christian Lions and the Fort Bend Christian Academy Eagles will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with San Antonio Christian sitting on nine straight wins and Fort Bend Christian Academy on three.

San Antonio Christian took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against Saint Mary's Hall, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Lions narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Barons 3-2.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day San Antonio Christian got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-17, 21-25, 25-16, 13-25, 15-8.

Meanwhile, Fort Bend Christian Academy got the win against St. Augustine on Wednesday by a conclusive 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-20, 25-10.

San Antonio Christian's win bumped their record up to 25-16. As for Fort Bend Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 27-11.

San Antonio Christian came out on top in a nail-biter against Fort Bend Christian Academy when the teams last played back in November of 2017, sneaking past 3-2. Do the Lions have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
