Football Game Preview: Indian Lake Lakers vs. Northwestern Warriors + How To Watch

Indian Lake has gone 9-1 against Northwestern recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Lakers will look to defend their home field against the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Indian Lake has five straight victories, Northwestern has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Friday, Indian Lake narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Graham Local 24-21. That's two games straight that the Lakers have won by exactly three points.

It was another big night for Noah Shirk, who rushed for 85 yards and one touchdown. Brodey Reisinger also helped out with an impressive 95 receiving yards.

Indian Lake didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Graham Local to a completion percentage of just 31.2%. The Lakers weren't nearly as limited: they posted one of 63%.

Indian Lake's defense didn't let the opposing QB, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for three sacks. Emerson Snapp refused to say out of the backfield, picking up 1.5 sacks all by himself.

Meanwhile, Northwestern fell victim to Benjamin Logan and their airtight defense on Friday. They were outmatched by the Raiders and fell 48-0. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Warriors were not able to get on the board.

Indian Lake's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Northwestern, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Everything went Indian Lake's way against Northwestern when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Indian Lake made off with a 41-19 win. Will the Lakers repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
