Baseball Recap: Culver Academies Comes Up Short

Culver Academies lost to NorthWood back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Eagles came up short against the Panthers, falling 12-6.

Max Grundberg made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Max Grube, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI and one run.

Culver Academies' defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for NorthWood, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-8.

Culver Academies wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 7-5 win against Tippecanoe Valley on the 12th. As for NorthWood, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-0 victory against Wawasee on the 11th.
