Basketball Recap: Woodbridge's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Monday

It was a good run, but Woodbridge unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They took a 42-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jordan Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 645th, while the Panthers are ranked 297th).

Jordan's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Diamond Toomalatai, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Jah'Asharee Moore, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 16 rebounds.

Woodbridge's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Jordan, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-4.

Woodbridge will square off against Kennedy at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Jordan, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 55-15 victory against Venice on the 11th.
