Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only St. Paul walked away with it. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Arlington Eagles 2-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-4 back in September.

The win made it two in a row for St. Paul and bumps their season record up to 13-13. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Arlington, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-14 record this season.

St. Paul didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 11-1 defeat against Central City on the 7th. Arlington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
