Baseball Game Preview: Northside Eagles vs. Houston County Bears

For the second straight game, Northside will face off against Houston County. The Eagles will venture away from home to challenge the Bears at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Northside is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.6 runs per game this season.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Northside's offense. They came up short against Houston County on Tuesday, falling 9-0. The Eagles' loss signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Northside got a good showing from Tucker Stillwell, who tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Stillwell has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.
