Baseball Recap: Collins Hill Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Collins Hill's offense. They lost 8-0 to the Mountain View Bears on Friday. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bears earlier this season, when they won 4-3.

Collins Hill saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Wakefield, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Collins Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Mountain View, their victory bumped their record up to 5-7.

The future could be bright for both Collins Hill and Mountain View: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Collins Hill will try to hand Dacula their fourth-straight loss when the two meet at 5:45 p.m. on Monday. Similarly, Mountain View will look to extend Central Gwinnett's ten-game losing streak when they meet at 5:45 p.m. on Monday.
