Basketball Recap: IDEA Robindale Comes Up Short

IDEA Robindale lost to IDEA Frontier College Prep back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Aviators took a 54-37 bruising from IDEA Frontier College Prep.

IDEA Frontier College Prep's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jay Pe?a, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 11 boards. What's more, Pe?a also posted a 56% shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2024. Noah Granado was another key player, dropping a double-double with 14 points and 15 rebounds.

IDEA Robindale's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for IDEA Frontier College Prep, their victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-9.

Coming up, IDEA Robindale will welcome Progreso at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for IDEA Frontier College Prep, they will head out on the road to face off against IDEA Weslaco Pike at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. IDEA Frontier College Prep are facing the Mavericks at the right time seeing as the Mavericks are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
