Durant fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Coweta on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 7-5. The Lions' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Durant's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Coweta, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-12 record this season.

Durant will take on Coleman at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season. As for Coweta, they will be playing in front of their home fans against McAlester at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
