Soccer Game Preview: Roosevelt vs. Legacy

The Roosevelt Rough Riders will take on the Legacy Tigers in a holiday battle at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Friday, Roosevelt and South Gate finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, Legacy kept a clean sheet against South East on Friday. They won by a goal and slipped past the Jaguars 1-0. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Legacy were the better team in the second half.

Legacy's win bumped their record up to 6-0. Roosevelt's draw gives them a new season record of 2-2-2.

Roosevelt skirted past Legacy 2-1 in their previous meeting back in February. Do the Rough Riders have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
