Basketball Game Preview: Skyline Titans vs. Granada Matadors

The Skyline Titans will face off against the Granada Matadors at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Skyline will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Skyline will bounce into Monday's game after beating Oakland, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Skyline walked away with a 40-31 victory over Oakland on Friday.

Meanwhile, Granada played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against Dublin, falling 69-42. While losing is never fun, the Matadors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 391st, while the Gaels are ranked 143rd).

Skyline has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. As for Granada, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-15.
