Baseball Recap: St. Andrew's Comes Up Short

St. Andrew was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Westminster Schools of Augusta Wildcats, falling 12-2. One positive for the Lions, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

St. Andrew's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Westminster Schools of Augusta, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-3 record this season.

St. Andrew's will challenge Islands at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Westminster Schools of Augusta, they will square off against Wardlaw Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Westminster Schools of Augusta is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.5 runs per game this season.
