Softball Recap: Legacy Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Legacy's offense. They fell just short of the Riverdale Ridge Ravens by a score of 2-0 on Saturday.

Kady Cosyns was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. Furthermore, she didn't allow a single earned run, the first time she has blanked an opponent since back in September.

Legacy's loss dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Riverdale Ridge, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 18-6.

Legacy has already played their next game, a 7-3 victory against Vista Ridge on the 18th. As for Riverdale Ridge, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 12-0 win against Grand Junction on the 18th.
