After losing to Washington the last time they met, Bloomfield decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Cardinals came out on top in a nail-biter against the Hatchets on Friday, sneaking past 10-9. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Cardinals have posted since April 22nd.

Bloomfield got a massive performance out of Jake Rose, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Rose continues to improve, besting his previous run total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Tyler Patterson, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one double.

With the victory, Bloomfield broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 14-6. As for Washington, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-11.

Bloomfield has already played their next game, a 10-0 loss against Barr-Reeve on the 25th. As for Washington, they will take on Southridge at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
