Basketball Recap: Emma Christner's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Lititz Christian over Harrisburg Christian

Lititz Christian lost against Harrisburg Christian back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Lititz Christian Eagles took a 40-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of Harrisburg Christian.

Lititz Christian lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Emma Christner, who posted 17 points and five boards. That was a full 48.6% of Lititz Christian's points, marking the tenth time in a row she's scored more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Jerneii Jones, who earned four points in addition to eight steals and five rebounds.

Lititz Christian dropped their record down to 5-15 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Harrisburg Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 6-10.

Lititz Christian has already played their next contest, a 60-26 defeat against Veritas Academy on the 4th. As for Harrisburg Christian, they will square off against Conestoga Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
