Soccer Game Preview: North Springs vs. Callaway

The North Springs Spartans will head out on the road to take on the Callaway Cavaliers at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

North Springs came up short against Holy Innocents Episcopal on Tuesday, falling 6-2. The loss continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Golden Bears: they've now lost three in a row.

Ethan Wilson and Zeke Anderson scored both of North Springs' goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Meanwhile, Callaway was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Troup County.

Callaway now has a losing record of 2-3. As for North Springs, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
