Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only North Gwinnett walked away with it. They put the hurt on the McEachern Indians with a sharp 10-0 win on Tuesday. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 16 matchups by seven runs or more this season.

The victory (which was North Gwinnett's eighth in a row) raised their record to 30-2. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for McEachern, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 24-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: North Gwinnett beat the Indians by a score of 12-0 later that day.
