Softball Recap: Lincoln County Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lincoln County can now relate to. They came up short against the Trion Bulldogs on Monday, falling 15-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 on Monday.

Lincoln County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kadence Elam, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

This is the second loss in a row for Lincoln County and nudges their season record down to 11-16. As for Trion, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season.

While Lincoln County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
