While Washington County's victory against Dodge County wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Washington County narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Dodge County 7-5. Winning may never get old, but the Golden Hawks sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Washington County pushed their record up to 14-5 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Dodge County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-11.
