Softball Recap: Mt. Zion Takes a Loss

Mt. Zion and Telfair County squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Mt. Zion had to settle for second. They took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Trojans: they've now lost three in a row.

Mt. Zion's loss dropped their record down to 16-11. As for Telfair County, they pushed their record up to 15-10 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

As of now, neither Mt. Zion nor the Trojans have any future games scheduled.
