Softball Recap: Community Trojans vs. Marion County Mustangs
Community came out on top against Marion County on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run fifth inning. The Trojans blew past the Mustangs 10-0. The win continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won seven in a row.
Jocelyn Curtis made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Community let Chloe Johnson and Lydia Hoyt run wild. Johnson went 3-for-4 with three RBI and one double, while Hoyt went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.
