Softball Recap: Spalding Takes a Loss

Spalding's last matchup with Crawford County could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Monday. The Jaguars lost 13-2 to the Eagles. The Jaguars just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Ra'Khiya Duffie was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with three stolen bases and two runs.

Spalding's defeat dropped their record down to 12-12. As for Crawford County, the win got them back to even at 9-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Spalding will challenge Troup County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Jaguars surely won't give up without a fight. As for Crawford County, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Peach County at 6:30 p.m.
