Loyalton is 8-1-1 against Portola since September of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Grizzlies will head out on the road to face off against the Tigers at 4:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Loyalton is looking to pick up the season's first win, something they couldn't quite do against Paradise Adventist Academy on Thursday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw.

Loyalton was without their leading scorer, Jovani Perez, in Thursday's contest. With Perez sidelined, Frederick Hoverkamp got his first action of the season.

Meanwhile, Portola was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Paradise Adventist Academy, falling 10-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Portola were already down 4-0.

With that draw, Loyalton's record moves to 0-3-1. As for Portola, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.
