Soccer Recap: Alexander's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

After flying high against Newnan last Tuesday, Alexander came back down to earth. The Alexander Cougars fell just short of the South Cobb Eagles by a score of 1-0 on Friday. The loss put an end to the Cougars' undefeated start to the season.

Alexander's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-1. As for South Cobb, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Coming up, Alexander will face off against Bremen at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Cobb, they will take on Marietta at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South Cobb's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
