Soccer Game Preview: St. Paul vs. Whittier Christian

The St. Paul Swordsmen are taking a road trip to square off against the Whittier Christian Heralds at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Tuesday, everything went St. Paul's way against San Gabriel Mission as St. Paul made off with a 6-1 win.

Meanwhile, Whittier Christian kept a clean sheet against Maranatha on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Minutemen with a sharp 4-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Heralds, who have now won four games by three goals or more so far this season.

St. Paul has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 4-8-1 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those four matches. As for Whittier Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4-3.
