Younger brother of Clemson's Travis Etienne making name for himself

Clemson's Travis Etienne is hours away from playing in his second straight College Football Playoff National Championship and has been one of the best running backs in the country.

The former 4-star playmaker from Jennings' (La.) has rushed for 1,500-plus yards in each of the last two seasons and accounted for 48 touchdowns.

During his high school career he rushed for over 7,500 yards and 103 touchdowns and accounted for nearly 9,000 total yards.

His younger brother is following the same path.

Trevor Etienne has emerged as one of the best running backs from the Class of 2022 and recently was named to the MaxPreps Sophomore All-American first team after accounting for nearly 2,500 total yards and 37 touchdowns.

He led the Bulldogs to the 3A state championship game and rushed for 111 yards and a score in their 51-14 loss to St. James (La.) at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.

Trevor's older brother is back home and playing on the same field later tonight trying to lead the Tigers to their second consecutive national championship.

So far the younger Etienne has landed an offer from LSU — Clemson's opponent — while other Power 5 schools have already shown strong interest. Expect offers to start coming in for the sophomore playmaker.

He is building his own legacy and is on the right path to be the next great running back from Louisiana joining the likes of Marshall Faulk, Leonard Fournette, Warrick Dunn, Matt Forte, Joe McKnight, Brian Mitchell, Derrius Guice, Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Kevin Faulk, Eddie Lacy, John Emery Jr. and older brother, Travis.
