Basketball Recap: North Star Comes Up Short

North Star was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Berlin Brothersvalley Mountaineers, falling 49-25. If the Cougars were looking for revenge after losing 54-18 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

North Star's record now sits at 0-2. As for Berlin Brothersvalley, their win was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-2.

North Star will face off against Ferndale at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Berlin Brothersvalley, they will head out to face off against Juniata Valley at 6:00 p.m. on December 17th.
