Basketball Game Preview: Greater Johnstown Trojans vs. Clearfield Bison

The Greater Johnstown Trojans and the Clearfield Bison will round out the year against one another at at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Clearfield took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Greater Johnstown, who comes in off a win.

Greater Johnstown is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed by Chestnut Ridge to the tune of 73-21 on Friday. With the Trojans ahead 33-13 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Meanwhile, Clearfield had to suffer through a 88-50 loss at the hands of Hollidaysburg. The loss continues a trend for the Bison in their matchups with the Golden Tigers: they've now lost six in a row.

The victory made it two in a row for Greater Johnstown and bumps their season record up to 3-4. As for Clearfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Greater Johnstown strolled past Clearfield in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 by a score of 60-43. Will Greater Johnstown repeat their success, or does Clearfield have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
