Basketball Recap: Las Lomas Comes Up Short

Las Lomas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 46-37 to the Washington Eagles.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Washington to victory, but perhaps none more so than James Coleman, who shot 50% from the field on his way to 18 points. Another player making a difference was Justin Chiu, who went 7-for-10 en route to 18 points.

Las Lomas' loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Washington, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Coming up, Las Lomas will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Athenian at 7:00 p.m. The Knights' defense better be ready for this one: the Owls have averaged an impressive 54 points per game this season. As for Washington, they will head out to challenge Balboa at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
