Soccer Game Preview: Brantley County vs. Jeff Davis

The Brantley County Herons will face off against the Jeff Davis Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Brantley County's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Brantley County's offense. They came up short against Berrien on Thursday, falling 4-0.

Meanwhile, Jeff Davis was not the first on the board on Friday, but they got there more often. They put the hurt on Long County with a sharp 4-1 win. Considering Jeff Davis have won six contests by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Long County with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Fabian Valdelamar (2), Colby Yarbrough, and David Calderon.

Jeff Davis has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 35 goals over those seven games. Brantley County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9.
