Yreka has gone 8-2 against Central Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Yreka Miners will head out to challenge the Central Valley Falcons at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Tuesday, Yreka didn't have too much trouble with Red Bluff as they won 52-38.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Central Valley). They walked away with a 57-44 victory over Los Molinos on Tuesday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Falcons considering their 21-point performance the contest before.

With the win, Central Valley broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-16. As for Yreka, their victory bumped their record up to 11-12.

Everything came up roses for Yreka against Central Valley in their previous meeting on January 11th, as the team secured a 57-26 win. Will Yreka repeat their success, or does Central Valley have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
