Softball Recap: Sapulpa Takes a Loss

Sapulpa was the 16-1 winner over Blackwell when they last played one another back in August of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Chieftains fell just short of the Maroons by a score of 4-3 on Thursday.

Sapulpa dropped their record down to 1-3 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Blackwell, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Sapulpa didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Cleveland on the 15th. As for Blackwell, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 5-2 defeat against Muskogee on the 14th.
