Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cedartown). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Creekside Seminoles a 21-0 shutout on Monday. Considering the Bulldogs have won ten games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Cedartown has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-10 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games. As for Creekside, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Cedartown beat the Seminoles by a score of 17-0 later that day.
