Slippery Rock and Harbor Creek squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Slippery Rock had to settle for second. They fell 49-40 to the Harbor Creek Huskies. The Rockets' loss signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Several Rockets players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cj Sabo, who went 5-for-9 to rack up 13 points and six rebounds. Sabo is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as she's posted one of at least 52% in the last six games she's played. Another player making a difference was Madison Romanovich, who posted 12 points and six boards.

Slippery Rock's defeat dropped their record down to 18-6. As for Harbor Creek, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-4.

Slippery Rock has already played their next contest, a 44-42 loss against Franklin on the 1st. As for Harbor Creek, they will face off against South Park at 1:00 p.m. on March 8th.
