Basketball Recap: Kane Drops Season-High Score on Johnsonburg

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kane). They claimed a resounding 58-31 win over the Johnsonburg Rams. The Wolves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 23 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Addison Haight, who went 12 of 20 to rack up 28 points and eight steals. Thanks to that strong game, she now owns an excellent 45.5% shooting accuracy. The team also got some help courtesy of Hailee Sheaffer, who went 6 for 13 on her way to 12 points and five assists.

Kane smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in five consecutive games.

Kane is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 26.8 points. As for Johnsonburg, their loss dropped their record down to 1-14.

Kane didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 45-43 defeat against St. Marys on the 10th. As for Johnsonburg, they will welcome Clarion Area at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
