After failing to score in their last contest, Lincoln made sure to put some goals up on the board against Gunderson on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Gunderson Grizzlies a 4-0 shutout. Considering the Lions have won seven matches by more than three goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Gunderson with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Patzily Navarro-Correa (2), Anahya Watts, and Cece Giguere.

Lincoln's victory bumped their record up to 7-5-1. As for Gunderson, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lincoln will welcome Independence at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lincoln is facing Independence at the right time seeing as Independence is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Gunderson has already played their next game (against Prospect), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
