Softball Recap: Prairie View Triumphs

The third road matchup was the charm for Prairie View, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They walked away with a 10-7 win over the Mountain Range Mustangs on Thursday. That's more bragging rights for the Thunderhawks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Aliciana Saucedo was incredible, going 1-for-5 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Shelby Ortiz, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Prairie View's victory bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Mountain Range, their loss dropped their record down to 4-9.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Prairie View is set to square off against their familiar foe Northglenn at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Mountain Range will challenge rival Riverdale Ridge at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
