Andy Franco made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over 4.2 innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (five). He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring four runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, Therrell let Traveon Banks and Quinterion Thurmon run wild. Banks went 4-for-5 with four stolen bases, three runs, and three doubles, while Thurmon got on base in four of his five plate appearances with four runs, four RBI, and two doubles. With that strong performance, Banks is now averaging an impressive 1.1 stolen bases per game. The team also got some help courtesy of DeGeorgio Jackson, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Therrell always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .590. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as KIPP Atlanta Collegiate only posted an OBP of .333.
