Soccer Recap: Commerce Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Towns County, Commerce was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Oglethorpe County Patriots by a score of 3-1.

Commerce now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Oglethorpe County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Commerce will welcome Banks County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Commerce is facing Banks County at the right time seeing as Banks County is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Oglethorpe County, they will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Providence Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. Providence Christian Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.9 goals per game this season.
