Soccer Game Preview: San Juan Hills vs. Trabuco Hills

The San Juan Hills Stallions will head out to take on the Trabuco Hills Mustangs at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. San Juan Hills' last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Saturday just wasn't the day for San Juan Hills' offense. They fell just short of Aliso Niguel by a score of 1-0 on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Stallions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 311th, while the Wolverines are ranked 49th).

Meanwhile, Trabuco Hills kept a clean sheet against Aliso Niguel on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Wolverines.

Trabuco Hills picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 4-2-4. As for San Juan Hills, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7-1 record this season.
