Football Game Preview: Fallston Cougars vs. Hereford Bulls + How To Watch

The Fallston Cougars will take on the Hereford Bulls at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Fallston is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They blew past Harford Tech 35-14. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.

Fallston found their leader in freshman Abi Archibong, who rushed for 301 yards and five scores while picking up 12.0 yards per carry. Archibong was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 66 yards. Another player making a difference was Zach Loewe, who gained 158 total yards.

Fallston was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 452 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since the start of last season.

Meanwhile, Hereford never let their opponents score on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 48-0 win over North East. Given the Bulls' advantage in MaxPreps' Maryland football rankings (they are ranked 73rd, while the Indians are ranked 203rd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Fallston's record is now 8-2. As for Hereford, their record now sits at an identical 8-2.
