Hardaway hasn't had much luck against Shaw recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Hardaway Hawks will host the Shaw Raiders at 5:30 p.m. Hardaway is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.3 runs per game this season.

Hardaway took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They won by a run and slipped past Jordan 4-3. The Hawks haven't had any issues with the Red Jackets recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Hardaway saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was A'Nazhe Purnell, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Shaw fell victim to Columbus and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Devils. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Hardaway's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Shaw, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-6.
