 If the Wyoming Area Warriors were feeling good  off their  51-14 takedown of the Hanover Area Hawkeyes last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Wyoming Area's  rough  33-9 loss to Wyoming Seminary College Prep  on Wednesday might stick with them for a while. While losing is never fun, Wyoming Area can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings  (they are ranked 532nd, while Wyoming Seminary College Prep is ranked 177th).
  Shannon Kearns was Wyoming Area's leading scorer, having posted six points.
 Wyoming Area bumped their record down to 4-12 with that  loss, which was their 12th straight  on the road dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's  offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 22.0 points per game. As for Wyoming Seminary College Prep, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.
 Wyoming Area will head out on the road to  challenge  MMI Preparatory School at 5:30  p.m.  on Friday. Hopefully MMI Preparatory School focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up 19 on Wednesday. As for Wyoming Seminary College Prep, they will look to defend their home court  on Friday against Greater Nanticoke Area at 6:00  p.m. Greater Nanticoke Area is coming into the  matchup hot, having won their last three games.
