Academy of Our Lady of Peace is on a three-game streak of home losses, High Tech SD a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Tuesday. Having just played yesterday, the Academy of Our Lady of Peace Pilots will get right back to it and host the High Tech SD Storm at 5:45 p.m. High Tech SD took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Academy of Our Lady of Peace, who comes in off a win.

Academy of Our Lady of Peace is headed into the matchup having just posted their closest win since February 9, 2024 on Monday. They skirted past Sage Creek 43-40.

Meanwhile, High Tech SD came up short against La Jolla on Tuesday and fell 71-61. Even though they lost, the Storm's still made a splash on offense and bumped their average scoring up to 50.4 points per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Despite the defeat, High Tech SD saw an underclassman step up: freshman Poema Strong posted 36 points and five boards. That was a full 59% of High Tech SD's points, marking the ninth time in a row she's scored more than a third of the team's points. Aomi Nebel was another key player, putting up six points and nine rebounds.

Even though they lost, High Tech SD smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in ten consecutive games.

High Tech SD's loss dropped their record down to 13-12. As for Academy of Our Lady of Peace, their victory bumped their record up to 4-22.

Academy of Our Lady of Peace came up short against High Tech SD in their previous meeting back in January, falling 61-52. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Strong, who dropped a double-double with 27 points and 11 boards.
