Perhaps the best among those players was Jennifer Wylie, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and six steals. Wylie hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for five straight games. Annabella Isham was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with six steals.
Even though they lost, Union Mine smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hughson only pulled down 12 offensive rebounds.
Hughson's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Madi Duron, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds. Duron is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last ten games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kareena Kang, who scored 16 points along with two steals.
Union Mine's defeat dropped their record down to 18-11. As for Hughson, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season.
