Softball Game Preview: East Union Eagles vs. Melcher-Dallas Saints

The East Union Eagles are taking a road trip to take on the Melcher-Dallas Saints at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. East Union has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since the 10th.

East Union lost 17-1 to Southeast Warren on Friday.

Meanwhile, Melcher-Dallas unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of Mormon Trail by a score of 9-8. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Melcher-Dallas' loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for East Union, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-13.

East Union skirted past Melcher-Dallas 6-5 in their previous matchup back in June of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
